Well, I'm all for the ones that are very tense, and that are slow and painful. Unfortunately, the second one didn't really have any, but my three favorite are:

FD 1 - Todd's death in the bathtub
FD 2 - Evan's death when the latter impales his eye
FD 3 - Erin's death with the nail gun

Okay, so I ended up buying it. I was thinking of getting the entire "Thrillogy" (teehee, I crack myself up...), but I decided that it was too much money, especially since I'd probably watch this one more than the others.

Very entertaining. I'm not sure exactly how the fate coin thing works, though. I always fail.

I thought this was the worst of the three. Still for my money the second one was the best collection of creative deaths I've ever seen in one movie.

I still like FD2 best, then FD1, and of course FD3 last.

The original is still the best because it actually had a GOOD story, great tension, and it felt genuinely creepy.

FD2 was ok but the story was beyond confusing and stupid...some sweet death scenes made up for it.

FD3 just parodies the other two IMO and offers nothing.

i have seen the movie and i dont think that it has a good base as far as plots goes ......death kills everybody in a degusting manner however its that grotest way that is probably selling all the tickets i mean its what got me and i really enjoyed the movie for that reason only i feel that if the writers keep on coming up with way to sicken the people the movies will keep on selling

Bumping a 2+ year old thread...

Just watched the movie on TV...holy **** at some of the deaths. The movie, in itself, was "terrible," but the deaths made it incredibly entertaining. Every single one of them was awesome (minus Ian's). The nail gun and the weight room were definitely my favorites.

Pretty sure they cut some out...but they showed a lot more than I thought they would.

They showed the nail-gun shooting in the back of the head (don't know if you ever saw the results in the movie), they showed the entire tanning bed scene, they showed the weights come down and pop his dome, etc.

Never saw it off of TV, so don't know if there was stuff cut out...but they showed enough for me to get some sick enjoyment.

Well, the bed tanning scene has nudity, so I don't think they would have showed all of that.

I'd have to see how they did it I guess, because I'm sure they had plenty of edits. What about Franky, the guy whose head got chopped by the motor from the truck engine? It gets him good at first, and then when they recognize it's him, it turns one more time and slices some of the back of his head off.

FD II still had the best death scenes of any movie ever IMO.

I'd have to see how they did it I guess, because I'm sure they had plenty of edits. What about Franky, the guy whose head got chopped by the motor from the truck engine? It gets him good at first, and then when they recognize it's him, it turns one more time and slices some of the back of his head off.

Yeah, they had the girls pull down the strings but the bikinis stayed on. I was kinda pissed because they were hot.

As for the Franky death...that is the only one I missed. Went upstairs to get some food and came back down and the two main characters - Gwen and the dude from Disney Channel's "Luck of the Irish" - were getting helped by the cops/medics. I'm pissed I missed that one.
