I just watched this movie and it was GREAT. Who else seen this movie? It is such a star studded cast which makes the movie so much better. Great performances from ALL the actors and actresses and the story was brilliant. Great take on the stereotypes and racial issues in America. I especially liked Ludacris' character.

This isn't like the movie Traffic, is it? Because, for such high ratings, that was honestly the most boring movie I had seen in my entire life.

Good movie, and very well done, just moved a little slow for me. Not to mention the entire thing I sat there trying to figure out WTF the plot was.

he DID shoot the little girl and for people who didnt understand (like me when I first saw it) the reason she didn't die was because the Persian dude's daughter put blanks in the gun (if you remember the little scene where they showed her loading the gun for him and when she took the box out from under the cash register).

Well yeah.(I worded it wrong I guess)..I knew that. I think everyone knows that, or at least anyone with half a brain that paid attention to the movie. Thats why the guy was asking the daughter you sure you know what your doing, why do you want these bullets. She knew her dad couldnt control himself and if something was to happen, he might end up hurting someone.

Well, then he didn't shoot the girl. You can't shoot someone with blanks. You can shoot at someone, but you can never shoot anyone since the shots will never hit.

Anyways, I would have absolutely hated that scene if it wasn't misdirection. It would have been such a unrealistic and cheap way to get an emotional reaction from the audience. I was rolling my eyes as it was happening since I thought it was so silly.

Even though the scene didn't play out like that, it's still my least favorite scene in a movie I really liked.

You can't shoot someone with blanks. You can shoot at someone, but you can never shoot anyone....
