I'm there too. I got a few friends who did not, and almost would not listen to hip-hop. Once I got them on 9th they haven't looked back, now they're coming to me with Pete Rock stuff, it's solid.

    He's up there.

Nicolay is on the rise though.

Anybody got Midnight Club on Xbox? Apparently Murs is going to be gaming this weekend.

And I like Ant's beats myself, but I've been bumping his stuff hard the past couple of months so...

it's the new Von Pea & Madlib album...

I love Madlib myself... 48 songs of his on my playlist... but Von Pea... man oh man, this guy has stepped up his game within the last 2 years or so, and he is close to being a top 10 artist for me, if he isn't already.

Yeah I listened to the joint all the way through while playing NBA 2k9...it's a dope CD. Von Pea has def. gotten better and seems to have gained more confidence on the mic. A lot of the songs were really funny.

I love his skit about how he came up with everything that's in hip-hop, kind of like how a lot of rappers will say that stuff and really mean it. Made me and my boy chuckle...

and we listened to the whole thing while playing NBA 2k9 too!

"Rockin' You Eternally" feat. Dwele & Leon Ware

by Jazzanova... I had to check out their album after I listened to that linked song from Dookie I believe... with Phonte on it.

                          Their album is pretty tight.

NBA 2k9 listening is usually the best. I love listening to music while playing games, for some reason I retain it the best during that time.

I'm gonna have to start doing the same. The commentating is getting old 8 games into my association, and half the time its not accurate.
