 Re: fans of underground rap?

I got some notification that Atmosphere is re-releasing a remastered version of god loves ugly. Since its my favorite album of all-time thats cool with me."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Yeah, "Picture on the Wall." Ashlee Morgan is the woman singing the hook and, to my surprise, she's local. I was at the release party and she got up there and A) was gorgeous and B) just killed it.

That's my upload folder with Blood is the New Black by Jabee (an awesome guy, by the way). He's playing Wednesday here in town with my boys 8 Bit Cynics.

Download all that stuff. Other than Grieves, it's all local guys.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

 Re: fans of underground rap?

It looks like I'm a little late to the party, but a guy from work gave me Jake One's "White Van Music" to listen to and it's one of the best CDs I've heard in awhile. His beats are nice change to what's out there right now.

 25 Greats of 2008

I put together the 25 best songs of 2008... with one guideline... that no song has the same artist, same featured artist, comes from the same album, or has the same producer. It's absolute variety at its finest.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

 Re: fans of underground rap?

Chaundon for artist of the year eh? I can get down with that, loved Carnage. I still haven't listened to Grey Hairs. Detroit was killing it for sure this year. I think the most underappreciated artist from this year on OS was Gemstones/Gemini whatever he is calling himself these days, his mixtape was fireComment

 Re: fans of underground rap?

Has anyone heard of this group Holly Weerd? I came across this song by them from a mixtape I downloaded a year ago and it's really good.
Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
