You like Kenn Starr's flow? I think his flow & voice are very mediocre. He has no variety in his delivery either. Starr Status was good because of Kev Brown's beats.

While I agree with the flow, Kenn Starr was definitely the reason why Starr Status was a fine debut. Star Status would have been better if it was shorter.

I loved Starr Status... still one of my favorite albums to this day... I loved the song "Inside".

jmood's throwback album/mixtape of the day

Here's his remix of Dreams by Game

This came out a few years ago but I'm sure most people haven't heard it, it's one of the best remix albums I've heard.

Re: jmood's throwback album/mixtape of the day

Charles Hamilton is soooooo average that his buzz befuddles me. He took a page out of Wayne's playbook with his lazy flow and how he just rambles in a booth, throwing **** together and hope it works. He's creative and when he drops the lazy flow, he's actually good, but his execution falls short more often than not. Pink Lava Lamp was solid, but otherwise he's Shaq at the free throw line; probably because he puts out an absurd amount of music. The comparisons to Lupe Fiasco are dumb. Hamilton can't breathe in the same room Lu farts in.

Also, getting your *** handed to you by Serius Jones, a random fan after a show, Soulja Boy and Rhymefest & getting caught stealing beats isn't a good look for any up and comer.

Charles Hamilton is garbage. I hate the music magazines that hype up these horrible rappers because they have a different look. The first article I read about him spent more time on him wearing Hello Kitty headphones than talking about his music.

I remember you would next hyped as the next big thing because you actually knew how to rap well, not because you simply sounded different.

Yeah it just makes me mad seeing magazines hype these guys up for such stupid reasons. "He doesn't talk about guns, he's the future of hip-hop". Nevermind the fact that instead of talking about guns he's talking about aboslutely nothing.
