after the party, two step blues are same lyrics? just new beats...
Tay rapping about how he doesn't have the desire to do it anymore on Tig for Dollo
Pumped about Chaundon and Torae features though, actually you hear Torae on the last preview...there goes the excitement of waiting for that one, lolLast edited by NC State-31 UNC-27; 03-17-2010, 12:24 PM.Comment

Ones I'm feeling:
Revenge
Tigallo for Dolo
What We Are
Otherwise, I dunno. Rhyming sounds on point but absolutely garbage production in my mind. Real amateur sounding.Last edited by FedEx227; 03-17-2010, 03:55 PM.PSN: VoicesWrestling

Re: fans of underground rap?
Yea beats are kind of 50/50 for me, and the ones I like I dont really like that much. Sounds kinda funky/similar to GetbackComment

Re: fans of underground rap?
They just seem to have a lot of amateurish little soundbytes, there's a *** **** slide whistle in one of them... I mean c'mon....PSN: VoicesWrestling

Joell Ortiz has become one of my favorite rappers.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
After hearing these beats, I wish they would've called you guys to lace a track. Your stuff runs circles around what Khyrsis is putting out these days.Last edited by FedEx227; 03-18-2010, 09:56 PM.PSN: VoicesWrestling

Re: fans of underground rap?
I was thinking today... and damn, does LB realize how respected they are in the underground hip-hop community?
You really can't tell me they couldn't have gotten beats from Black Milk, Pete Rock, S1, Kno, Preemo, Jake One, Exile, Von Pea...?
All of these dudes have connections to Tay and/or Pooh and would've been MORE than happy to contribute to the project.
They have connections to all these dudes but instead we get to close the door on one of the most historic hip-hop group with some third-rate beats with *** **** slide whistles and wooden fish. That just aint right.PSN: VoicesWrestling

I think Phonte just likes it like that for some reason. He's got horrible taste in music now.Comment

Re: fans of underground rap?
Yeah, aint that the truth. Nicolay has flown away too it seems.
What are you gonna do? It's a shame, I'll see go to their concert in Chicago, still buy the album but just disappointed it has to end this way.
Especially considering we're in a golden age of underground hip hop in my mind, thanks in some part to their effort. Would be nice to cap it off with something good...
Production-wise I don't think there has ever been THIS many awesome producers doing their thing at one time.Last edited by FedEx227; 03-18-2010, 10:20 PM.PSN: VoicesWrestling

Re: fans of underground rap?
Overproduced... you have to get super-hyphy to even be heard on that track
Overused sample... seriously, everyone has gone over that stale sample
Featuring Illy... that guy was tollerable on like one song off his album last year. He scratches my ear drums.
Best M-Phazes beat is actually... "Still Love" - Soulstice
You still like awesome music tho Jmood!SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment
