How about sparing us the snippy comments and just give the guy what he was asking for?
2. Its hard to make suggestions when I don't like the music he said he would like it to compare to.Comment

Re: Rock/ALT./Indie recommendation thread
Then why would you even reply? It's not like I'm going into rap threads and making posts similar to the one you made in this thread. I generally enjoy you as a poster, dieselboy, but that was really uncalled for.

Re: Rock/ALT./Indie recommendation thread
I'm not 100% sure how well they fit with the bands you listed, but here are my recommendations:- Jimmy Eat World (Clarity, Bleed American, Futures)
- Our Lady Peace (Happiness... Is Not A Fish You Can Catch, Gravity, Healthy In Paranoid Times)
- Franz Ferdinand (Franz Ferdinand, You Could Have It So Much Better)
- Muse (Origin of Symmetry, Absolution)
- Weezer (Pinkerton, Green Album)
- Brand New (Your Favorite Weapon, Deja Entendu)

Re: Rock/ALT./Indie recommendation thread
I second the nominations for:
Yeah Yeah Yeahs (Fever to Tell)
Interpol (Antics - Their first album, although darker, is great too).
Bloc Party (Silent Alarm - great album from start to finish)
And finally, although no one has mentioned it:
Arcade Fire (Funeral)Comment

The Silent Alarm remix album is pretty good as well.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried.
