Can you wait a little? Say, until Tuesday?

little less powerful than Macbook Pro, free printer after rebate with purchase of any Mac, and I'd use the extra money for 3-yr applecare, and you'd still come in ubeder budget, I'd think.

Just curious, where do you spend most of your time? Is Apple's "plan" working on you? I mean, the plan where they provide windows running for "need", but the more people use OSX, the more they like it, until they use windows less and less until eventual abandonment?

Well, if you opt to install and run windows, the same as any windows machine with the same specs.

OSX gaming is decent, but not a ton of games, and the games that do come out, come later than they do on the PC side.

Although, keep in mind that you're not going to get much of a "gaming" laptop for $1,500, PC OR Mac.
