I think it is just the look of Ledger's Joker that I don't like. Joker has always had some style to him and this new version he looks like a bum. Ledger's Joker is what I envision the Joker looking like after decades of battling the Bat, definitely not at the start of his game.

Well, Nolan's take on Batman has all been about being 'realistic' and 'dirty'. I'm pretty sure they could pull-off the neat-looking Joker if they wanted to. I also think he looks a lot menacing this way.

Saw the trailer for this before IaL, looks friggin' epic...can't wait.

I was kinda skeptical leading up to seeing that trailer but not now.

Jack's ****ty Joker was was a worthless sissy who spray painted art while his thugs danced around to pince and killed people with beauty supplies. Propably the most overrated performance of all time. It was just Jack in white make up.

Were you even born yet when that moive came out? He was a great joker, that is the Joker that was more like the TV show and that is what I grew up too.

Nicholson's Joker was pretty good. It was a cross between the TV show Joker and the way Joker was portrayed in the late 70s/early 80s in the comic books. He was villainous but he wasn't psychotic in a sick way. It made his character kind of cool IMO.

Regardless of whether or not someone was born during the era of Jack's Joker (not sure what that really has to do with anything... is someone not allowed an opinion if they weren't born then??.... and yes, I was), this movie look absolutely awesome. I love the new take on Batman with these remakes... can't wait!

Yeah, really don't understand what being born when the movie came out has to do with anything.

I saw the movie, I've read most of the early Batman comics, even seen the horrible live-action TV show...

But because I was 1 when the movie came out and obvious didn't see it until later in life my opinion should be less? Don't understand that at all.

It does, why? Because if you were there to see it the first time it came out you can relate to what Jack was doing with the Joker character. He was based off the TV show and some other Joker. Also, if you were a kid or a teen when this movie came out, you would have realize that Jack stole the movie. You think Heath is going to steal the movie from Christian?

I liked Jack as Joker, but I never really liked that movie because Keaton was an awful Batman.

I thought he did a pretty good job. He was better as Batman then Bruce Wayne in my opinion.
