Honestly, I don't know what my true feelings on this movie are.
I love Vince, obviously, just check the avatar. I also think Aniston is perfect in this type of role, I really can't think of anyone else I see playing Brooke. And there were some truly golden moments in the movie -- the dinner scene for one, the scene with Gary and Johnny after the climax, the fight scene between Gary and Richard.
Now, all that said... The movie hit a little too close to home for comfort. Honestly, almost every argument in the movie me and my fiance have had over the course of our relationship. It was weird to the point of just being downright spooky. Everything was just a little too real. When we left the theater on Sunday, there was just this huge awkward silence between the two of us for probably fifteen minutes before either of us spoke a word about the movie. Generally, whenever we go see a movie, we'll start talking about it when we walk out and not stop for the length of the carride home. Not the case here, I think we've spent probably five minutes since seeing it Sunday actually talking about the movie.
So, my overall thoughts? It was good, but the realism was a total mindjob
