    Re: Best Movie Soundtrack

I remember liking Spawn (Filter, Rollins, Manson, Stabbing Westward), The Crow 1 (NIN, STP) and 3 (Danzig, Filter, Kid Rock) and Less Than Zero (Glenn Danzig, Roy Orbison, Slayer, Aerosmith). There are probably songs on all of those that I liked then that I wouldn't like now (I believe Korn was on the Spawn one...). I hate Kid Rock, but the song on the soundtrack for The Crow 3 was pretty good (Warm Winter, or something like that).

Oh, and how could I forget, Wayne's World. The Bohemian Rhapsody scene remains a classic.

No one does better pop soundtracks than Quentin Tarantino. Pulp Fiction in particular had an AMAZING soundtrack.
See above. Also for pop soundtracks, Forrest Gump and Walk the Line should be mentioned. Orchestral-wise I'd have to go with Gladiator, since thats the only one that I remember after watching.

I'm also a bit confused over pop vs. orchestral but some that come to mind:

High Fidelity (check the movie out!)
                    Forrest Gump
                    The Matrix
                    Moulin Rouge!
                    Amadeus
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

                        Friday Night Lights.

While mainly instrumental (Explosions In The Sky), it was still perfect.

Men In Black has a nice soundtrack.
