So did I. John Williams is a master.

If we're going to talk about orchestral scores, I could go on forever, but I'll just post a few (aside from the usual suspects):

          Anything by Bernard Herrmann
          Anything by Miklos Rozsa
CutThroat Island - terrible movie, best pirate movie score of all time
The Incredibles - John Barry meets Henry Mancini
“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis Black

Man I can't believe none of you picked BACK TO THE FUTURE! It has my favourite Eric Clapton song on it. ("heaven is one step away")

Also I think the GHOSTBUSTERS 2 soundtrack is more enjoyable from top to bottom then the original.

Back to the Future Trilogy are my three favorite movies, I can't believe it slipped my mind for soundtracks.

Scream 2 & 3 both had excellent soundtracks. So did Cursed. Wes Craven has good tastes.

Clay Pigeons also had a solid soundtrack. Same goes for Varsity Blues.

                                Another one comes to mind:

                                TROUBLE MAN

Tho the music on the film is a bit different then the actual soundtrack as Marvin Gaye didn't like how the musical score sounded so he redid it for the album.
