Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Just watched the trailer, looks pretty good. Glad to see they used the same family from the remake. I don't know why there is such a big deal about the trailer though, I didn't find it that scary or over the top violent compared to other horror trailers.Comment

Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
I just came back from this. This is a prequel of the first one, so it gives a little more insight on how the first one became what it was (Leatherface, the cop, the cripple, the butcherhouse, etc.)... but essentially, it was the same kind of movie. Nothing new here. Great horror. Probably not for the squeemish.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
friends said it was one of the bloodest movies they've ever seen... Made one want to throw up due to so much gore... but overall they said it was just an average horror movie.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
This movie most certainly had scenes where people might have wanted to throw up... but according to Darren Bousman (Saw III director), if his hype is all true, Saw III will outdo this one.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
This reminds me of Team America
" I miss you more than Michael Bay missed the mark
when he made Pearl Harbor.
I miss you more than that movie missed the point
and that's a lot girl. And now, now you've gone away
and all I'm trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked
and I miss you.
I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school.
He was terrible in that film.
I need you more than Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part.
He's way better than Ben Affleck and now,
all I'm trying to say is Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you.
Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies.
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked just a little bit more than
I miss you."Comment

Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
It was "in association with Michael Bay". Anyhow, I thought it was decent, I liked the 2003 version better though. I think this one was primarily just a gore fest. It did wrap up a couple of things in the movie before this one which was kinda cool.Comment
