For the guys who have seen the movie, would you agree that the final battle is a let down? I read a few reviews that said that.

Not really considering the whole movie is basically one big action sequence with some pretty hilarious moments spliced in.

For the most part, yes. It was a bit short and not enough focus was placed on the robots.

Just to make sure, are we talking about the final battle between the two leaders or the whole battle between Autobots and Decepticons?

If you are talking about the entire final battle Autobot vs. Decepticons, I thought it was great.

If you are referring to just Optimus and Megatron, it reminded me a lot of how it was with the cartoons on TV. Don't expect a long, drawn out, battle royal. It was sufficient for now.

Yeah, the Optimus/Megatron battle was a bit of a letdown, but the final 45 minute action scene was amazing.

                Great, great movie.

This was easily the best movie I've seen in a LONG time. It was just how I like my movies, a lot of comedy, action, and the ladies in the film were all great.

I've never went to see a movie twice at the movies, but this one might be the first that I'm willing to do that.

More likely for practicality. Same reason they changed the characters into sleeker looks than the big blocky robots of days past. The same reason Wolverine isn't wearing bright yellow in Xmen.

When you turn cartoons and comics into live action, some things have to be changed.

The final battle as a whole was GREAT, but the final battle between Optimus Prime and Megatron was a bit short. I'm sure it'll be made up in the future movies, but for now it was fine.

And I forgot to mention that this movie was ****ing hilarious as well.

Literally got back from seeing the movie and i must The best movie i've seen all year. I mean it had action and a good enough story for a summer blockbuster. This is the olny movie i'm willing to go see twice. I'll see it again with my cousin next week.

I never really watched Transformers as i kid, grew up around the time of beast wars. However with the iterations of the transformers, i expected this movie to be good, and was blown away.

Easily rate this movie a 8.5/10 If it had more backstory it would of easily gotten a 9/10

For some strange reason of which i can't really explained, when i left the theatre 15 mins ago; all i kept thinking of was how awesome a Halo movie would be.

I mean literally after seeing Transformers, i have hope hopes for a halo movie now cause i know it can be done, and it can be done well

Actually this was done YEARS ago in regards to the toys. It was more because of Political Correctness then anything else. Also as someone noted the practicality of it all as well. Remember the film makers didn't want any mass shifting so it'd be impossible to have Megs as a gun in the movie even if they wanted to.

I watched it a second time... still good, but some of the scenes do not seem near as necessary when you watch it again. The funny parts were still great and the last 30 minutes were fantastic, but it was drawn out at points. Finally got to see Die Hard and I think I enjoyed that better than Transformers.
