Re: iPod or PSP
also it appears that even though both are 30 gigs, the ipod can hold more files because the itunes format is actually smaller than WMA's, Mps's, avi's etc.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. If you don't think Tony Romo is a Hall of Famer, you support al Qaeda. -

Itunes is pretty cool too and while I love my music, I love my daily dose of ESPN podcasts and podcasts in generalComment

I have one or two episodes that are AVI DIVX and are around 340x480 ratio size with an amazing kbps.. When transfering over to ipod mp4 format, is there any quality lose and does the size go down? Also, what about a direct transfer on the Zen system of the 220mb avi divx file... Does the file get transfered on whole, and even though the file is two times the resolution, it seems like it would be playing at 50% the size and youd be essentially wasting disc spaceComment

Example:
I have season three of Dawson's Creek ready to be put on to it at 3.3 GB and in regular format it's 6.86 GB. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is 495 MB converted from a DVD and Kill Bill Vol. 2 is 599 MB. I just have so much crap such as TV shows (I'm slowly becoming a TV junkie) that converting the files is better for me because it saves me tons of space. Instead of 24: Day 5 being 6+ gigs it's one 3 or so.Last edited by Flyboy; 06-15-2006, 02:35 AM.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. Re: iPod or PSP
Yeah...bought it the day after the game, but just got a video iPod Sunday, so finally got to watch it on the small screen and it looks nice.
Now I'm contemplating between the final 2 episodes of 24 seaosn 5, or a few episodes of the Office.Comment
