Re: Router Help
While we're on the topic of routers, I have a quick question, hopefully someone can help a brotha out... We have Time Warner for our cable, phone and high speed internet. They installed it at our first apartment when we moved to Raleigh last year, and I was able to hook up my Netgear router just fine. I forget what kind of modem it was, but it accpeted it. We switched to a smaller apartment to save money for our house, and when Time Warner came to reinstall the cable, we got some new modem, a Motorola Smartboard or something like that... Now I can't connect my wireless router to the modem... Does anyone have any experience in dealing with this, and know what kind of router I should buy to connect with this new modem? I won't need a wireless card because my laptop has wireless built-in.
