It's very sarcastic and dark humour, that's not what makes some people laugh.

I live off sarcasm, which is why Arrested Development and Futurama are two of my favorite shows ever.

Same here, AD was my favorite comedy behind Seinfeld. It kicks *earmuffs*!

Futurama is great for me because of the science and math jokes... I think the many facets of Futurama really make it awesome.

I mean, why else would you pull a show that is getting good ratings?
I've just always wondered why they tried as hard as they could to make sure that the show wouldn't succeed. It had the highest number for a debut I believe and with the obvious fan support it would seem like a no brainer to bring the show back but of course this is the station that shows pretty much nothing but reality shows.

My favourite episode ever is "The Sting"

After arriving at an asteroid field in deep space, Fry, Leela and Bender attempt to collect honey produced by vicious space bees. Leela decides to take a baby queen bee that incidentally kills Fry! While at Fry's funeral, guilt ridden Leela has a romantic dream that causes her to believe that Fry is still alive. As Leela's bizarre dreams continue to develop, she sinks into a much stranger sleep.
It wasn't the FUNNIEST episode ever but it was very clever and had a Twilight Zone feel to it.

not 100% on the wording but "Fry is dead and he'll never come back again, Remarkable" Dr. Farnsworth is hilarious

They aired a four part mini series last night on Comedy Central. Not sure if it was the beginning

of a new season or just a special mini series.

they arent making any new episodes, they are just cutting up the 4 DVD's or so that FOX approved. So that's 16 episodes that will count as a whole season. Bender's Big Score was a letdown really, but I guess some people like it. The story was lame, the villains were annoying, and it was hit or miss with the jokes.
