Steve I have one and love it. I hooked it up at my parents house in TN when I was in Italy and was able to watch all my DirecTV channels just like I was in their living room. If you travel a lot it's a great buy. Your IP address will show up as whatever state you have it hooked up in. If you have no problems with that, it's all good brother.

I have one.

I don't use it much because I can't bring my computer to work. But next year when I go to university, I'll be using it lots.

It's really cool. I say get one as long as you'll use it in the near future.

This is a cool device. As a matter of fact, it's on sale at Best Buy this week - 50 bucks off, so it goes for $149. I know I have to resist spending money, but . . .

I have one for when im in college so I can watch the Yankee games. It works great the streaming is very clear and have had no problems with it over the past year.
Really the only problem with it is you have to have a empty room to set it up because whatever channel your watching on the slingbox also has to be on at home. This isn't a problem for me because the tv in my room is obviously empty when I am in college. Anyway I'd highly recommend buying this especially for 150.

Great point. I was able to get in touch with my parents to watch Packer games last year. No channel surfing!

I've got one too Steve. For the time I've used it, I have really enjoyed it. I've had it unhooked for a month or so due to moving, but when I did have it hooked up, it was nice to be watching sportscenter while at work. Once I get fully moved into my condo, I'll be hooking it up again.

Make sure they have broadband internet access, otherwise it won't work
