Sorry, it's a good show, and he's really good on it, but best drama actor's going to Kiefer.

Surprised at no LOST.... You know Desperate Housewives is tanking when not one of the actresses are nominated....last year all of them were nominated. I hope Tony Shalhoub wins for best Comedic actor, he's money in Monk. Also hopes Shatner wins because the man is hilarious in Boston Legal and really holds the show together IMO.

I'm surprised Hugh Laurie didn't get a nomination for his role in "House"...that's a GREAT show.

                Anyway, go 24!!

I hope "The Office" wins Comedy and Carell wins Actor in a Comedy...IMO it's the best show on TV right now (though Earl's really good as well). Can't wait for season 2 on DVD. Would have liked to see at least one other Office cast member nominated, but it's such a good ensemble (past Carell) that i understand it'd be tough to nominate someone.

Hugh Laurie was robbed. I hope he comes up on stage and hits someone with his cane.

Not a snub, because they've won 3 each, but I was surprised that neither James Gandolfini or Edie Falco was nominated.

I also can't believe the snubs on my favorite drama and comedy, Lost and My Name Is Earl. Glad to see Conan nominated and hopefully he will win.

Lost and Desperate Housewives jumped the shark last season. Housewives more so than Lost. Housewives has become an characture of itself in just the first season.

Lost started to fail for different reasons. JJ Abrams is the soul behind his shows when he left Alias to do Lost, Alias went downhill. When Abrams focused on MI3, lost suffered. Heck look at the West Wing when they lost their creative writer (I can't remember his name).

24 almost jumped the Shark when Jack Bauer somehow was able to cover his mouth and protect himself from the deadly gases. But they recovered when they focused on one of the most compelling story lines in that series with the corrupt President.

I think the 24-style keep you wondering what happens until next week has to be so good or the shows become unwatchable. If the storylines are not fleshed out and the characters aren't developed, the shows turn pear-shaped.
