I'll still watch the show the rest of this year and next year, but I agree with what you're saying. The same plot twists are getting pretty old for me. It's almost like the producers are taking the theory of "If it's not broke, don't try to fix it". That's fine for newcomers, but for those of us who have been watching since the first episode of Season 1, it's getting a little old.

I mean...I'll say "This can't capture me" and all that, and then...come next November when the first "24 Season 7" preview comes on I'll be just as hyped, and hooked as I always am.
Here's to hoping the final ten episodes are ****in awesome, though, huh?Comment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
This is definitely the last 24 season I watch unless they make some changes. They're just re-using the same plot twists and same characters. I think any 24 fan could have told you that they would accuse Nadia of being a mole at some point this season after the first episode.
The whole Morris drinking thing is just lame. Enough already. Also, everybody sitting by and watching as the VP orders a nuke dropped on a foreign country just for the heck of it.I loved Powers Boothe in Deadwood but he just doesn't fit into 24.
Maybe they'll revisit the Logan/Martha/Aaron crap later this season, but at this point was there any value whatsoever of bringing them back? That was just a two episode tangent that was ridiculously predictable and lame.
The only saving grace for 24 would be if next season Jack spends the entire 24 hours exacting revenge on whoever killed (kidnapped?) Audrey. They need a change of pace badly.
When you look at 24, it's strength is the unpredicable nature of Jack Bauer and his allegiance to the good of the country, and how his character ignites and gets the job done. My opinion is that 24 has gone away from that, more than ever this season, and because of that, the weak storylines that have always been in this show are really obvious.
The Jack Bauer honeymoon is over, and what's behind that is this very lacking plot that more resembles the A-Team than previous 24 seasons.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

I think I agree..for the most part.

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
I will still watch the rest of this season and next season too, but I'll agree that this season is the worst so far. I thought the first 4 episodes were great, but since then it's gone downhill.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: 24 Season 6 (NO SPOILERS)
That's what I've always believed made 24 so compelling to watch. Jack vs. the world, basically. If 24 goes through with the whole Jack's revenge subplot, that should be really interesting to watch.Comment
