Funny thing is, Clubber really didn't have an apartment. If you watch his workout montage it looks like he lives in a cellar.

It's good to see a bunch of other Rocky enthusiasts like myself. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but now I can show her all of you guys are just as crazy.
You want to know how insane I am when it comes to Rocky?
I bought this Tshirt just to wear when I watch this film:

My wife said she's going to wear a mask so noone notices her with me.

        My favourites:

        Rocky IV
        Rocky III
        Rocky V
        Rocky
        Rocky II

        They're all very close though.

"No, I don't hate Balboa. I pity the fool."
" I reject the challenge, 'cause Balboa is no challenge, but I'll be happy to beat up on him some more."

Yeah, one or none of the governing bodies of boxing would sanction the fight.

Wow. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and all, but your rankings are just pure heresy. Putting Rocky V anywhere but dead last truly makes Jesus weep.

For me personally, it's almost like I could rank all of them in two different lists- one for the quality of the movie, and another for how good the fight action and "guy movie" stuff is (training sequences, music, etc.). I have always been partial to III and IV because they definitely get me the most pumped up, have the best music (some of it being really cheesy LOL), and are the easiest to watch over and over. Considering only the overall quality of them as movies, though, it is hard not to put the first one at the top. The original story is just too perfect.

I am not crazy about Rocky II to this day, but I have gained more appreciation for it as I have gotten older, and it is still miles better than the abomination that was Rocky V. I really wanted to like V, but damn, there is oh so much to despise. From the "being in the poorhouse again" angle, complete with Adrian friggin' busting out the old frumpy bag lady clothing and going back to work at the pet shop, to Tommy Morrison's lame character and even lamer acting, to every single second that Sage Stallone is on screen. Hell, even the soundtrack was garbage. Then, as if all of that wasn't enough to ruin the movie, they make Rocky a walking invalid and have the big final fight be in the street outside some dive bar, where Rocky pulls off these super cool awesome street fighting moves that looked like they would be more appropriate for Breakin' 3: Electric Boogaloo.

Yeah, that about sums it up....

                My rankings:

                Strictly on quality as films
                Rocky
                Rocky III
                Rocky IV
                Rocky II
                Rocky V

In order of watchability and overall "fun factor"
                Rocky IV
                Rocky III
                Rocky
                Rocky V
                Rocky II

Jees, what a weak *** story line. And Tarver doesn't have the intimidating look to be the main villan.

Why not cut to the chase and make a movie where Rocky, Jason, JAWS and Freddie Kruger all get stuck in an elevator and have to fight to the death.

They were thinking about it, but Jaws, Freddy and Jason was being difficult in contract negotiations....

...so they went with another Rocky.

Larry Holmes was reported as wanting in on that elevator scene.

I am too. Sure, call me silly, but this last one looks like it's going back to its roots.

I've actually never seen a Rocky movie.

This one looks inredibly low budget lol.

                                And the story looks........ laughable.
