My only complaint that it's in colour. Wasn't the original done in a style that reminded you of looking at a security camera? I guess Kevin Smith is too much of a big shot to go "small" time.

Can't wait. Have been wishing for a sequel ever since the first one came out. Kinda got annoyed that they kept making new movies with the crew, but not another Clerks! At least they kept everyone at least in somewhat cameo's in all the movies.

uhh i thought he shot it in color cause it was very low budget back then to do so...

Um, no the original was done in B&W because that was pretty much all he could afford to do at the time he made it. This flick is in colour because he can afford that luxury.

All i'm saying is that if you want to stick with the overall visual feel of the original at least go B&W as well.

yeah I was surprised by that too.

I'll probably go see this in the theater sometime, I've liked a few of Kevin Smith's movies. They aren't my favorites though. I think Kevin Smith is real funny and likable outside of his movies though, so I always want to see his movies.

I'll go see it. Clerks was pretty good and I'm interested in seeing another movie featuring the Randall character.

He wanted to but the Weinsteins wouldnt let him do it in B&W. He also stated that he only wanted to do this for 250,000 but his partner Scott Mosier said he wouldnt work on it if the budget was that small. they ended up doing it for 5 mil.

I would have been first in line Friday for it, but, we're going to Traverse City camping. I'm holding out hope for rain on one day so we can hit the Grand Traverse Mall and catch it.

I just watched the original just now. One of the funniest movies of the 90s that's for sure. That Randal is such a bastard but he's so damn funny.
