Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
The way they cut the preview it certainly seems like it is Ben who has the tumor...of course, those xrays could have been planted as a test on Jack (much like the previous poster talked about exploiting characters flaws), since we know that Jack believes he can fix anyone....
BTW, one of my favorite scenes last night was when Jack pulled a "Henry Gale" move on Juliet, similar to how Ben drove a wedge between Locke and Jack...well written scene.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
One question....how are the Others travelling between their island and the other one? Do they have a boat? Some sort of passageway under the water? After that woman was shot by Sun, they seemed to get her back to the Others' island very quickly. But how?
The scene at the end of the episode where Ben explains to Sawyer about the pacemaker and the rabbit seemed to suggest that nothing is as it seems. Like the Others are making things look a certain way for the benefit of Jack, Kate, Sawyer and the rest of them, but things aren't that way. But I'm confused as to why the Others would go to the trouble of staging this impressive and convincing of a false front. What's to gain? I agree with the post above that they're conducting some sort of behavioral experiement with the three captives....but it's clear that the Others aren't what they seem to be. I just wish I knew why they were pretending to be something they're not.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.Comment

Was it just me or did I hear someone say "sub" as in referring to submarine somewhere early in the episode when they were in that underwater place. If so how do the logistics of that all work out. Like where is the underwater facility in reference to the prison island, because we saw when Jack was brought to the surface that he exited from that building by the cages where Sawyer and Kate werre being held.Comment

Yes, I knew I wasn't crazy. And then after that scene they showed a stretcher being carried through the jungle. Which would make no sense if that was Coleen's stretcher unless the whole thing is somehow underwater.Comment

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
By the way, regarding the 2 island's.... In the first episode they showed the plane crashing and Ben told his people to go take a look or something like that. I guess they could've jumped on a boat to see what was happening, but I always felt they were running to another section of the island. Who knows?Comment

Also...anyone think they just sent Walt to their(the others') island and he's lost somewhere out there running around, or do you think they let him go?Comment

Could be why they wanted the survivors boat so bad...didn't want them going out to sea and then finding the other island.

Ah, really? Didn't know if they'd be back or not this season - so I guess that explains that one.Comment

More food for thought -
In the preview for next week they showed the guy with a patch over his eye. Remember in season 2 (I think) there was a hatch with the Bible and a glass eye? I was always wondering who the glass eye belonged to. Looks like we might find out next week.Comment
