One thing I still dont understand.

"Henry".. now known as Ben... apparently is the all powerful leader of the Others. This was shown in the beginning during the bookclub meeting and the guy says "Ben wont like this" and Juliet flips out and says she doesnt care.

So "Henry" intentionally got caught in one of Rosseaus traps in order to get Michael to lure Jack, Sawyer, and Kate to their place. My question is:

How could the Others have been sure that they wouldnt kill "Henry" while he was there. If they did then the whole plan wouldve been scewed and Jack, Kate, and Sawyer wouldve never been brought there.



I cant wait to see why the next 2 weeks are going to be so unpleasant.

Well, only part of them are. That was one of the Dharma labs. In the beginning they have houses, and everything.

That whole thing with the houses at the beginning left me rather stunned.

Unfortunately that USAToday article I posted above pretty much gave away the beginning so I wasn't too surprised. It stated that The Others live a lot nicer than they've come off in previous years. It also stated to remember what Henry Gale (Ben) said last season.....that being "We're the good guys". I still can't figure out what that means.

Other than spoiling that for myself (thanks USAToday!), I thought it was a very interesting first episode. Lots of questions that need answers again.

Oh yeah, when Jack was in his car at the beginning and the radio was on, guess who was on the radio? Glenn Miller. The same Glenn Miller that they always play in the background. Glenn Miller was a musician who died in a plane crash in 1944.

The show is always 44:20 with 15:40 of commercials. There just seemed to be more commercials today because they took more breaks but the commercials were shorter.

After watching the first two seasons on DVD the commericals were tough to handle. I'll get use to it :wink:

Weird first episode though, don't know what to make of it.

These others seem to have a lot of military experience. There starting to break down Jack and my guess is try to brainwash him in to joining them in their group. That Juliet knocked the **** out of Jack!

I believe all three were in a science experiments IMO. That boy across from Sawyer looked like a setup for him to escape and how Juliette was trying to break down Jack psychologically.
