Lost is back! A tremendous episode that will take me at least half of tomorrow to wrap my head around. Lots of things answered in this episode though, along with some new mysteries (of course). I think Locke's destruction of the Flame station will prove to be an extremely significant development in the course of this show.
Here's the conversation that took place in Russian tonight, as translated by Lostpedia....
Klugh: Mikhail! You know what to do.
Mikhail: We still have another way.
Klugh: We cannot risk. You know what to do.
Mikhail: We still have another way.
Klugh: We cannot risk. You know the conditions.
Mikhail: We have another way.
Klugh: They know us. We will not let them [unintelligible]. You know what to do. It is an order.
Mikhail: But we still have another way! (pause) I'm sorry! (shoots)Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.Comment

Great episode. Guess people got what they wanted. More present story, less flashback (though, I thought it was a good one)."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Pretty good episode tonight, I like Sayid flashbacks. They're always interesting and intriguing.
And for some reason, I'm staring to find Locke's character to be annoying. He's always curious to find/know something which causes more trouble. You can tell Sayid was pissed off at him when the place blew up. I thought he was going to give him a beating. lol
Next week's episode looks to answer those Claire/Jack sibling questions that has been on my mind since last season.Comment

What is it with the animals showing up in flashbacks and on the islands. Ok now we can scratch off the wire on the beach question, great we're making some movement!Comment

Good episode with some answers and some mysteries (as always). I agree that with the place blown up and the map they have in possession, some more answers will be given to us.Comment

Great episode, but not because of the revelations. Sawyer asking Nikki "Who the hell are you?" was priceless.Listen to some of my covers:

That was so great because I'm pretty sure that's what most of us said when she showed up early in the season.Comment

Question. Did Sayed always remember her but denied it early only to finally break down and admit to being there with her? He sounded so sure that he had no part of her past torture. Then admiting it later, caught me offguard.Comment

I think he just tried so hard to push it out of his mind that he didn't want to admit and face the reality again.Listen to some of my covers:

I thought it was a great episode, sorely needed after two straight duds."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
finally got around to seeing last weeks episode. As everyone else said, it was really good. Sayid is such a strong character, it's a shame they don't focus on him more. Can't wait for next weeks episode...err... this week!http://flotn.blogspot.com
