For those asking about the kids and other mysteries, the executive producers have said we'll know more about the kids in the second episode after the break. They also assured that Michael's story is not over. Anyway, Asianflow quoted a question from this interview, and here is the rest if anyone wants to read it. Possibly some things that could be seen as spoilers. Interview w/ Damon and Carlton

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
I liked the episode and am actually glad there wasn't a cliffhanger at the end. If Matthew doesn't at least get an Emmy nomination for his performance this season, I'll be shocked.

Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
I'll try to describe it:
They all have that, breath-in pause form of delivery. Where you see them stop, look down, breath in, and then say something. Or they start to say something, pause, breath in, and then continue. And a lot of looking down, and jerky head movement is in there too.
Watch any Jennifer Love Hewitt movie, any of the Screams (for whatever the brunnett's name is), The Nine with the dude that looks like Tom Cruise and finally "Jack" from Lost. They all act the exact same way. Brutal.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am grateful for one thing in regards to the season so far - hardly any Hurley. If I have to hear him say 'dude' one more time I'm going to kidnap him and force him to eat nothing but celery for the rest of his life.Comment

From what I hear the man that plays Desmond received a nomination for his role.Last edited by CMH; 11-10-2006, 11:45 AM."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. See that's where I'd pay no attention to awards and critics because Naveen Andrews is one of the lesser quality actors during Lost. Constantly slipping in and out of his regular British accent and often seeming to be going through the motions.
Desmond and Jack are great though.Comment

That one episode could have been Naveen's best performance of the season."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: ***LOST Official Season 3 Discussion**** (Contains West Coast spoilers)
I've been expecting more answers this season than what we have been told through the first six episodes. That being said, I have still enjoyed this season and it is still my favourite show (Yes, even better than 24 and Prison Break).
Thoughts so far/Interest for second half...
- The other hatches, the illuminated "map" Locke saw in the dark when the hatch doors came down
- Don't introduce Penny at the end of S2 with "We found him" and not touch on it AT ALL yet
- Clarification of what the numbers mean
- Desmond's possible predicting the future
- Michael/Walt although I do not really like Michael's charatcer (I doubt this will happen this season)
- More Sayeed, he is not being utilized as his clever, smart self as he was in S1 and S2
- Explanation of why Libby was in the psych ward w/ Hurley
- Better explanation of the "monster", polar bear and shark
- More Dharma explanation
- Mr. Eyepatch (Jacob?)
- Why introduce new characters? I don't see any purpose of them so far
- Why Alex's relationship with the Others is so rocky
My favourite characters are Jack, Sawyer and Desmond (in the order) so I really do not mind the lack of time Hurley, Claire, Charlie, etc. were in the first part. However, I would prefer if they were in it more.
I always have more thoughts when I watch the show but this is what I can think of right now. Also, I actually like Ben as a character and don't have some excessive amount of hate for him. He is a "good" bad guy, kind of like Oliver in S1 of The OC. I don't think Ben will die but I do hope Pickett dies, preferably by Sawyer. Please no Charlie-type killing (see Charlie killing Ethan in S1).
... this is becoming really long and probably hard to comprehend any longer...
...I am eagerly anticipating the return of LOST. Kind of odd knowing we'll see some new 24 episodes before LOST.Comment

-What did they do to Claire's baby?
-What is Danielle's story?
-How did the Others get there?
plus a ton more
The producres have already said that the first episode of the second half will be about Penny so I'm definitly looking forward to that.
