I think that Sawyer is alive and married/dating Kate, that is whom she is referring to that he will wonder where she is at.

WOW! What a crazy episode and it was really good tonight. So far, I have seen 2 very good final season episodes...Smallville with Bizzaro and now LOST with flash forward clips now. I can see them saving how they get off the island till the end as now all were going to see is clips from the future. I guess that this is a brilliant approach by the writers as it allows them to continue + now they will continue to show us things that are going on the island but also show the future as we wait in the wings wondering how they really got rescued, etc.

My thought was that it was Ben in the coffin as well. I think Jack would consider Sawyer a friend after all that, and I also think Sawyer is who Kate was referring to. The coffin did look a little short though, I guess Ben is short.

no way... Kate had a nice car and was dressed good. She looked pampered. Can anyone get a good look at the article in Jack's pocket? That's the obit for whoever died... ha and the whole time I thought the woman was in the casket when it's really someone from the island!

I think Juliette's in the casket.

And I think Sayid breaking that dude's neck with his legs was possibly the best moment ever on television.

And I think I might die before next freaking FEBRUARY!

Obviously these corporations have the power to do anything... even "take care of your past." So I'm sure Kate was cared for.

Did Jack say "either" or "neither" when the guy asked him if he knew the deceased? I swore he said "either."

I heard "neither" also.

As for who's in the casket, you have to wonder whose death would make Jack jump off a freaking bridge and kill himself. Unless something dramatic happens towards the beginning of the next season, the only two people I'd put in that category right now are Juliette and Kate. We know Kate's alive, so....

What about Locke? Locke said Jack was making a mistake by leaving the island. Maybe Locke dying reaffirms that for him.

Why do characters unneccesarily sacrifice themselves? Why did Charlie have to lock himself into that room? Wouldn't it had been easier to close the door on the other side and not get yourself blown up?

I think Jack wanted to kill himself because he can't handle living a drug addicted life and can't be happy unless he is on the island. I don't think the bridge has anything to do with the person who died.

Desmond is the man, and though I felt very bad for him, thank God Charlie is gone. I hated pretty much any story line he was involved with.

Is season 4 really starting in Febuary?

I don't think Locke makes it off the island. He seems destined to die there or if anything, stay away from whatever rescue there is.

He had to carry out Desmond's vision to make sure everyone would be rescued. Thats why Desmond told him "this time you have to die".
