Originally posted by ExtremeGamerIs it 15K or 30K? I have to look at my disc. I have number 2134 or something like that because I always laughed at the fact it had (1,2,3,4) in it. I paid 24.99 for that one too
I heard rumor that there might be a Book of the Dead version being released for Army of Darkness also. There is something going on with the rights that might be preventing them from doing it.
I just hope that the remake of is good whenever it releases.Comment

Re: Evil Dead & Horror Movies
Originally posted by ExtremeGamerRaimi said he's going to revisit it after Spidey 3. I don't think we'll ever see it, but if we do, I hope it can capture the same Evil Dead magic. And since Evil Dead was independent when made, there's no chance of the tree rape appearing in the remake.
I'm such a big fan that I actually bought some prints/movie scenes of Army of Darkness and Evil Dead II at Wizard Con a few years ago.Comment

Re: Evil Dead & Horror Movies
Well, I picked up Army of Darkness: Boomstick Edition and Evil Dead. Boomstick Edition and the Anchor Bay SE seemed to be about the same, at least according to the feature list half.com gave. The Evil Dead edition I bought had the same features the Book of the Dead version had, but without the featurette "Discovering Evil Dead" and the documentary "Fanalysis" by Bruce Campbell. I also picked up the uncut edition of American Psycho. Can't wait for those to come in the mail.

Originally posted by Fresh TendrilsIts a great movie to debate about as well. I already had a copy of AP, but the uncut verison has a director commentary and a featurette, plus it was just 10 bucks.Comment

Evil Dead 2 is really good also. Army Of Darkness is decent but not as good as the first 2.My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Evil Dead & Horror Movies
Bump.
For other horror movies, I picked up Night of the Living Dead and watched it last night. Great flick. I loved the interactions between Ben and Harry. Is it just me, or does Ben remind anybody else of Samuel L. Jackson?

Re: Evil Dead & Horror Movies
Actually, I watched it for the first time Saturday night, so I had not seen it prior to this weekend. And yes, it was the original in "glorious black & white." The cellar is the best place.
