Re: Cedar Point Announces 17th RollerCoaster

Hmm, I was just thinking about how Cedar Point hasn't had a new rollercoaster in a few years. This is one more incentive for me to go again next summer. My only concern is that they have to be running out of land pretty damn soon cause it didn't seem like they had much left

Everyone says that. They've been saying it ever since Millennium Force was built, and they've managed to fit Dragster and now Maverick into the park. All they need to do is rearrange some things and that by itself opens up a lot of land. They still have room for at least 2 or 3 more full-sized rides.

That's not really too many... though they already have 16 there.

Is this place better than Magic Mountain? I mean I love X, Scream, Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, even Superman...

Magic Mountain is trash. Half of their rides are closed all of the time. Six Flags has the park up for sale now, and it might be demolished in the near future if the park is sold to developers.

I haven't been to the Point in a few years, last time I went was the year Millennium Force opened. We used to make it up there once a year or so, we'd drive up from Canton visiting family there. Last time we went it rained us out the first day, so we had to make the drive from Canton again the next day. Love that place.
