Never heard the story. Don't know where that school is located. Haven't a clear clue when the time period for that is. I do know that I'm watching that on December 22nd though.

Theres some info on it, Marshall is located in Huntington, West Virginia. I got a buddy who is a huge Marshall fan, and actually lives up in the area. The movie was shot here in Atlanta, well a good portion of it. I'll definately be seeing the movie in December.

I know this movie is based on a true story but the film was very cliched. You could see everything coming from a mile away.

Jack Matthews said it best when he said It looks like every inspirational sports movie we've seen in the last five years.

McConaughey, Fox, and Mara delievered strong performances. The movie should be shorter.

In the credits they show pictures/highlights of famous Marshall players like Moss, Penington, and Leftwich.

If I wasn't a football fan I would give this film a C. But because I am a football fan, I give this movie a C+

Have not seen the movie yet. About 3 mos ago I actually met the QB's father at my work. He is cousin of a co-worker. Can't begin to imagine what he went through losing his son. Hope to get the movie soon. Peace!!!
