Me either, I've always gotten very friendly and helpful people.

They were friendly and as helpful as they could be, they just had no idea what I was talking about. I blame DirecTV for not having a generic answer available more than them.

I wonder why your call went to India? I have never, had that problem. I have always gotten people at a local call center. Did you call after hours?

I called a total of 3 times, here is summary:

1. 12pm Sunday, person from India. She transferred me to an expert who was from America. I think the girl from India had a better grasp of the conversation than the expert.
2. 9am this morning, person from India named "Ron". He transferred me, but the call was lost.
3. 9:30am this morning, reached an American who transferred me to an American. The only answer I got is that they were sorry for the inconvenience and DTV is working on a solution (this wasn't done by now why? They've had what, 6 months notice)

Strange, I have never had a call taken overseas by DTV and they have always been very helpful.

Luckily, Directv is carrying it here in indiana, but DISH is not.

Dish carries it here in the Tri-Cities. Weird.

massnole you gotta take the good with the bad cuz that's the facts of life, the facts of life!

It was probably too good to be true getting DTV like that.

Anywho Whenever there's been a change in a network or anything technical like that I find that it takes at least a day or two for it to fully shake out. Oh and thank goodness Rogers hasn't gotten into the whole outsourcing bit. The CSRs for them are bad enough as it is.

Great, now both of my DVR boxes have gone to crap. I just did a software upgrade which they assure me will resolve the problem, although no one on their forums seems to believe that. So in the past 2 days I've lost the following shows to these malfunctioning POS's.
- Bones
- Justice
- Eureka
- ECW
- Rachel Ray (wife's show)
- Nip/Tuck

Add to the fact they have our local area screwed up for the CW Network (we get it out of Hartford, CT) and I am seriously beginning to wonder why I left Comcast.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. but maybe hear in cali it is different BK, because I get the channel he is talking about on 44. I guess you don't want to miss America next top model! lol Any ways good luck bro.

The problem is Comcast is just too expensive around here.
