I guess I should have watched this after CSI. I hadn't heard of it, and didn't bother to leave CBS on to see what it was about. Sounds like I'll be watching it next week.

The second episode was ok. Though, it looks like the next one we are going to see the blonde girl be slutty with the former USC QB... Hopefully, they don't devote too much time to that... though she's kinda hot in that snobby smart bitch kinda way.

        I really am enjoying Shark.

Today's episode dragged a little, but the court room scene at the end picked up, and both times I've found the trials to be genuinely emotional.

Of the new shows I've been watching the last few weeks, Shark has impressed me the most. I find it very genuine and well done. Instead of being able to write expansively on what I like specifically, I just think the show feels good and is enjoyable.

BTW can anyone tell me who played the defense attorney in tonight's episode? He looks familiar. It seems like i've seen him in some movies or TV before.

Delijko Ivanek is his name. He's been a few notable movies...Courage Under Fire, Donnie Brasco, Hannibal, Black Hawk Down, Unfaithful, The Manchurian Candidate...

He also played Andre Drazen in Season 1 of 24.

I just got done watching tonight's episode.

I enjoyed it overall. The show has the ability to become genuinely emotional at least once in every episode so far, usually in the court room portions.

Shark has become the show I look forward to most each week.

It seems to be falling into the trend of having every episode end with a meaningfull father/daughter discussion, but that's bearable, as it is at least believable.

Overall, good show. I find the court setting to be unique to most weekly dramas, and the cast fit their roles very well.

OK i'm a bit late with my impressions. This was by far the weakest episode but that's not saying much as it's quality TV. I love the little zingers Stark hits every once in a while like "the only ego leaving this room is this one" then he leaves all angry and stuff.

So for those who watch HOUSE is the legal comparison to it a valid and strong one? If so i'm going to have to really start watching that show as I think SHARK is one of the best new shows i've seen in a LOOONG time.

                        I really like Shark.

It's a unique twist on the wave of crime shows we've seen over the past couple of years.

It's almost like a family show (with the father/daughter discussions) hidden behind a court room.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
