I used to love this show, but lately watching it has become a chore. I find myself counting down the minutes until Supernatural.

We see the same things every episode. Some superfreak kills someone, chloe tries to find out what is going on, she tells clark, clark runs to wherever the superfreak is, they fight, clark wins, superfreak dies, clark tells lana he loves her, lana pretend not to love clark back, lana lies to lex, lex brushes it off. Rinse and repeat.

Im starting to feel the same way.

WOW! O WOW! It finally has happened.....................the death of Lana, and Chloe appears to be dead also. Excellent season finale, but sorry, this finale needed 2 hours if you ask me. There was just so much that it flew by so fast.

I don't think Chloe's dead, I think that was her secret power and she's exhausted now.

But yea, that was more action in one hour than all the episodes combined. I need this hour to wrap my head around all of that!

I can't believe what happened. There has never been such an explosive season finale in Smallville like the one tonight.

Who killed Lana? Was it Lex or Lionel?

Bizzaro is here, that was cool.

This so badly needed 2 hours.

Now I can't wait for the fall.

This episode angered me so much....you know why?

Because I've waited forever for this type of action. The final fight scene was sick, and I want to see more....more....more...now we have to wait til Season 7.

right when it was getting good. yeah I don't think Chloe is dead either, not from a tear. Come on..shes a meteor freak, so she'll survive...I'm not sure Lana is dead either...notice, how the ice cream truck blocked everything for a second.....I think she made it seem like she died, so Lex would believe it and he would go down for her murder...

I think she rolled away on that truck...I DVR'd it, and you can see its obvious...no way they are writing her off, she's the hottest chick in the series, besides Lois Lane...

I don't think Lex or Lionel killed Lana...but then again they are Luthers...

If Lionel was planning to kill Lana, I don't think he would have chased her down.

Hopefully the next season is more action packed and stays on the story line for the majority of it rather than go off on some tangit for 55 minutes and use the final 5 minutes to nudge the story forward in baby steps.

I was wondering the significance of the Ice Cream truck. I was sitting there watching and I was like "Is that an Ice Cream truck? WTF is that doing there?" It was just too strange.

But now that I think about it, she may have staged her own death to keep Lex away from hunting her. We know he'd probably never let go and somehow observe her every action because he's a control freak. Plus he'd want to use her to get to Clark.

It WAS a great episode and yes it also ticked me off to a degree that they waited this long to advance the story line after the season opened so well. I still think the best action scene was the Clark - Titan fight though. This fight isn't finished either but man it did need to be two hours. They always leave you hanging.

It seemed that half of this year were standalone episodes and they really dragged it out. I hope they announce exactly how long Smallville will run. If next year is its last they should end with a bang.

No way Lana is dead despite me really hoping its true. She staged her own death to protect Clark. I thought they made that painfully obvious but not as obvious as Harry Osborne's butler speech.

Unfortunately, my favourite woman on the show is dead and that's Chloe. I really hope its not true (like the house bomb a couple years ago) but I have a bad feeling about it. The only hope I have is that DC bought the rights to Chloe's character which would make it strange to kill her off. There were some spoilers out there earlier that she may be killed off.

Took a little peek before seeing the finale and if Lana's death is a fake that's a major cop out. As far as Chloe being dead, I think that would be a big mistake.

Awesome finale. Badass fight to end the episode as well with Clark and Bizarro. How awesome is it that Bizarro is on the show?! Interesting to see how they wrap everything up. How will the Clark/Bizarro fight end, is Chloe dead, is Lana dead, is Lionel perhaps dead? So many questions, and so long until the next episode

On the topic of Supernatural, how many of you watch the show? I watch it religiously every week, and to be honest, most of the time it has been more interesting than Smallville. To top it off, the finale tonight was ridiculously awesome on so many levels.

I think Chloe is really dead and that lana faked hers. That truck went in front of Lionel's view for a reason. Makes sense to kill Chloe off now.

What better way to get out of lex's life than to make him believe you are dead and what better revenge than framing him for your own murder.

That episode was crazy good!

1. I don't think Lana is dead. The ice-cream truck blocking Lionel's and our view of Lana was, perhaps, a give away. No reason she couldn't have gotten on that truck and left the scene.

2. Chloe dying is questionable as well. Come on, a tear? The only possible reason I see Chloe dying 'cause of that would be her power transferring herself to Lois making Chloe the new Lois. I bet a lot of Smallville fans who've been speculating that Chloe=Lois would love that one. Still, its a little far-fetched so I'm saying Chloe lives.

3. Lionel may be dead. Hard to say but I'm guessing he'll live long enough to last through the first episode of season 7. This is the same guy who got whacked in the face, traveled like 100km/h, and smashed right into a car windshield by Lex. I'd say he can take this one.

4. Hopefully, Martha (Annete O'Toole) will still be making guest-appearances on the show. Her exit was too abrupt to be satisfying. Besides, she's always been there in Superman mythos so to not see her would be kinda weird.

5. I think Lex going to jail, thinking Lana's dead, and having no-one to trust (FINALLY!) would be the final straw in his turn to the dark-side. Also, its Michael Rosenbaum's final year (he's only signed for 7 seasons) so they have to make Lex go bad bad bad in season 7.

6. OMG! That fight was amazing. They should've shown a bit more but seeing Bizarro at the end was just fanboy gold! I cursed my *** off when Clark's face turned pale and had cracks. At first I thought they were going to settle with the darker colors and the line "I'm just like you. Only a little bizarre" but the end was just WOW! I can't believe we have to wait until September for this. Hopefully, Bizarro lasts more than 1 episode and becomes a multi-episode threat for next season.

This is definitely better than last season's cliffhanger. Definitely a Super episode of Smallville for me.

Lionel knows too much about Clark to be allowed to live much longer. He's one of the coolest characters on the show and I think he's still alive although when Lex truly goes evil (he may be already) and takes over the company I expect Lionel to die - maybe with Lex killing him.

I was disappointed when JK died and it appears they are 90210ing the parents on the show. I don't expect to see her much either next year.

I really hope they get into the training but I still want the show to be character based. Losing Chloe really hurts but its clear they want to move into the Clark-Lois scenarios.

Lana wore out her welcome but Kristin Kreuk is just plain hot (better then Maxim's #1) and possessor of one GREAT little BOO-TAY. I can't give the overall good looks nod to Chloe. I think Lana is dead because she's really not suppose to know Clark's secret. I think Chloe is alive, but will suffer in some way.

Can't imagine Lionel killing Lana unless he was trying to fool himself with the utter shocked look on his face upon witnessing the explosion.

Haven't watched it-I heard it barely made the cut to go another season.

I really hope they get into the training but I still want the show to be character based. Losing Chloe really hurts but its clear they want to move into the Clark-Lois scenarios.

Chloe survived an explosion so I think she could possibly make it through a lost tear. Seriously, I think the character is too popular to cut loose.
I consider this episode to be the most fast paced and best of the series to date, and all the episodes this season pale in comparison. Say what you want about Lana, but KK had some great scenes last night. The Bizzaro transformation was a great ending to Smallville's greatest episode.(IMO)
