Seriously folks... what's with the Bob Barker fandom? He's an OLD, OLD game show host. He probably hit it big time with being in Happy Gilmore. But seriously... why the legend status?

Bob Barker was huge way before Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore was just a tiny blip on his radar screen.

The legend status is from hosting one of the most popular and longer running game shows in America. Price is Right is huge.

Bob Barker is a LEGEND in every sense of the word. You can't fault him for having a cult status with college age folks these days. Yeah he's looking frail but I believe he'll be retiring in '08.

He has hosted a popular game shown that has been around since 1972, that sorta cements the legend thing. Hell, Happy Gilmore is just a drop in the bucket that is the legend of Bob Barker. Before Price is Right he hosted a popular gameshow called Truth or Consequences, which started in 1950.

Seriously, how can anyone question Bob Barker as a legend?

The guy was in his mid forties when I first saw him on Truth Or Consequences in the mid 60's. That show sucked almost as much as PIR, but you didn't have many choices back then.

Oh man, I love the PIR. By the way, I don't know if you guys know this, but Bob's not even alive anymore. Bob died in '87! They've got him out there on strings now like a puppet.
