I hate Cox Cable HD Service

They are on there way to dropping yet another local HD channel, because the station could not reach "fair" terms with them. I don't get Fox and CBS in high def, and it looks like NBC is next on the hit list.

I get HiDef locals from DirecTV now. I will never, ever, ever go back to cable.

charter offers ZERO of those channels in my local area. I talked to them 15 months ago about this, and they said within the next 3-6 months they thought they would have them.....

and im still waiting, and not happy about it

Do your locals not broadcast in HD yet? If so that's not Charters fault. If they are then that's a huge problem all due to Charter.

Yeah, I believe you can get an OTA antenna and get the HD channels that way...

well, they need to have a tv with a built in HD tuner, or buy an HD STB. but yes, you can get all local broadcast channels with a regular antenna.

Do your locals not broadcast in HD yet? If so that's not Charters fault. If they are then that's a huge problem all due to Charter.

i have talked to head engineers at all 4 local stations, and all say they are providing the HD feed to charter. They told me that over a year ago.

I bought a antenna, but i couldnt get it to work. we are about 60-80 miles away from the stations, so im not sure if that played a role in it or not
