The Return of BattleStar Galatica (2003)

Tommorrow one of my favortie shows returns from its break. I wont into much detail seeing as some folks are still catching up.
But I am curious on how they get out of this situation or if they got out of it at all. Great Show glad to see it return with a double episode. For those who dont know there are some sort web episodes floating around out there that bridge together the last episode and the new one for tommorrow.

Ummm, are you talking about the show on Sci-Fi? I'm a little confused as to the 2003 in the title. Is that because of the year the pilot ran?

Yeah I'm pumped for this. One of my two favorite shows on TV. I just wish it was in HD.

Yeah thats the one I am talking about... the original came out in the 70s or 80s and I wanted to make sure people understood which one I was talking about.

I wonder how the original Sharon will react to Helo's Sharon.

Yeah, I'll definitely be watching. Been a big fan since the mini-series.

The "webisodes," as they are calling them, that you speak of can be watched on Sci-Fi.com Battlestar Galactica page: http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/
I've only watched the first one (kept forgetting about them), so I have some catching up to do. They aren't very long.

Word Jistic....the lack of Sci-Fi HD is disturbing and tragic.

I think everyone is waiting to see how Baltar and his Cylon lover will interact and what the fleet will do with a skeleton crew on board to fight.

              God I love this show.

I was waiting for you to jump in on this, AA. I missed the HD comment from Jistic. I guess in the past I didn't care because I didn't have an HDTV. But, now that I do, this would be sweet to watch in HD. Someday soon Sci-Fi will switch over, I hope...

I have Dish Network and they DO show Battlestar Galactica episodes in HD on the UniversalHD channel (part of the HD channel package with Dish).

                  Very very nice.

At first it seemed like they were trying to paint the 'insurgents' out to be like Iraqi's. The music, the suicide bombings, the detention centers. It was a little bit troubling to tell you the truth. I don't need a producer shoving political points of view down my throat on the fricking Sci Fi channel.

But very good episode. It keeps getting gritier. And fat Apollo was funny as hell. Let's see what Sharon can do next week. And Baltar needs to get his *** kicked.

Any sympathy viewers had for the Cylon point of view in Seasons 1 and 2 are down the tubes for this one.

I'm back to hating the Cylons full bore.

And Boomer is still uber hot.

My prediction: The team that arrived with Sharon intercepted the firing squad. The nobodys were killed while Roselyn and the VP were able to escape.

Also: They should of had Sharon get a tattoo or wear a decoder ring or something. If she were to get killed her memories would go into the cylon database, they could sub in another Sharon to infiltrate Galactica.

I just had this image of Adama handing Sharon a cheap electric green plastic ring.

"Here....in case you get captured or killed...where this ring I got out of my Captain Crunch this morning so that we can distinguish you from the other Cylons."

I do think you may be right on the first part though.
