Re: All Time Most Scary Movie
Haven't read thru the thread, so I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but the one movie that f'd me up the most was one called Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County. It was a made-for-TV movie from around '98 that was presented as being legit footage of an alien abduction surrounding this family. Think of it as Blair Witch, but released years earlier and with aliens. If anyone has ever seen it, you know there is one scene at the very end of the movie that will haunt you for the rest of your life. Absolutely frightening. But brilliant.Comment

Re: All Time Most Scary Movie
Probably the most scary to me is either Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the original and the 2003 or whatever it was remake. Both got me good. Also, the Halloweens, the older ones, were pretty hard to watch for me when I first saw them. And The Hills Have Eyes was pretty wicked too, the scenes where the dude is looking for his kid in the abandoned test town was pretty intense.
BGarrett, I remember that alien thing you were talking about. It was bad *** at the time, and I liked how they had those fake scientists analyze the video to prove it was real.Comment

And if you like either TBWP or The Last Broadcast, you'll surely like Cannibal Holocaust which both movies ripped off.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

God, I haven't seen that in years! And that was the original docu-horror movie. Some very intense scenes if I do remember.Comment

Some nasty *** stuff in it, the animal scenes were way worse than the cannibalism scenes.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

Re: All Time Most Scary Movie
Either it was the original Cannibal Holocaust or its sequel/spin-off, but I remember watching a turtle death scene in one of those movies.
For whatever reason, that stuck with me. Ha..
I've seen all of my favorites (ANOES series, The Shining, Halloween, etc.) so many times, the scare factor has been dulled mightily. Being a child of the 80s, Freddy Krueger was the guy to avoid, though. The "you've got the body, I've got the brains" scene in ANOES 2 was boss. The turtle scene is the worst...then you have the pig, snake, monkeys, etc.
