Re: Probally my most anticipated film ever comes out tomorrow worldwide...

I couldn't imagine being so close minded to completely rule out anything - be it aliens, ghosts, afterlife, "monsters", whatever. That seems as such a boring way to live. Don't you want the excitement to, at the very least, be possible if not plausible.

As for UFO's, I don't know because I have never seen one myself. I have seen plenty of footage, but I try and be skeptical on most things that I see. But would I say there is no such thing, absolutely not. It is possible to be skeptical and believe at the same time. I think some people are missing that, and I feel sorry for them.

As for ghosts, I wholeheartedly believe in those because I have seen and experienced them with my own eyes, and there is nothing that someone could say to change my mind to that effect.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

You most definitely should be skeptical when it comes to video footage theres are alot of crap out there and faked stuff. Im currently a MUFON(Mutual UFO Newtwork) field investigator trainee.

Before I believe in UFO's, aliens, Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the New Jersey Devil, ghosts and the like, I need evidence. These things are not about "belief" or "faith".

I actually saw a report on cnn which said 1 in like 10 people claim to have been abducted by aliens. And Im not talking about pure whackos, but businessmen, mothers and so on. Im not saying I believe in aliens but im not naive either. The 9 planets in our solar system come from one solar system, their are millions of solar systems. Crazy stuff.

My ex's dad was/is the head of the Missouri chapter of MUFON. He also teaches a class at the local community college on UFOs. Anyway, movie looks very interesting and I'm anxious to hear some reviews.

Really, Bruce Windemann (sp) he's great guy. Yep he is still head of Missouri chapter of MUFON.
My brothers drove down with him to the the MUFON symposium I had to work and couldn't afford to go .

Cool conversation, glad it's coming to the forefront.

I don't blame skeptics when it comes to UFOs, aliens, cryptids, ghosts, etc. and I totally understand where you're coming from...I just don't agree with you.

I think everyone to a certain degree is a skeptic until they have an experience themselves.

I know in my heart UFOs exist because I've seen them on 3 different occasions...I know what I saw and NO ONE is going to dissuade my opinion. I don't base my opinion on books, movies, etc...I base it on what I saw and what my friends saw with me. Sure you can read and hear about it all you want from someone else but until you truly experience it for yourself, it's always going to be hard to believe in 100%.

On top of my own personal belief, the reason that I'm so steadfast in my beliefs when it comes to UFOs, cryptids like Sasquatch and Nessie, and other phenomena is because of the sheer amount of normal and credible people who have seen or experienced something out of the ordinary. Sure you can try to dismiss them all you want to but what exactly do these people have to gain by coming out and telling their stories? If anything, there is a lot more for them to lose than to gain...talking about something so taboo and believing in it instantly questions your credibility and makes you a "nutjob". It's ridiculous to think that an overwhelming amount of witnesses want to try and gain anything from sharing their experiences, it just doesn't make sense.

Also for the skeptics, I urge you to look up and study things such as the Majestic 12. That in itself is damning IMO of the U.S. Gov't and their role in all of this...it may not change your mind but at least it might make you think.

                                fair enough.
I believe a few of the technologically advanced nations are in on it, yes.
Ok. So my idea (however unfouneded it may be) is based on not believing in aliens. Yet, without any merit or proof, you believe in this theory? How is my theory any more right or wrong than this one?
A lot. Wouldn't your opinion on it change? Yes, it would.
Yes, of course it would. But I'm a non-believer. If full-proof evidence proves otherwise, of COURSE my opinion will change. Until there is, I don't believe it.
No matter where you pulled it from, that concern does exist. Again, I can't go to much into it because of the TOS, but if there's life on other planets...I'll leave it at.
again, probably a slipper slope that neither of us needs to get into on this board
What we find, we keep. What they find, they keep. Our country has weapons, planes, vehicles, etc. under development that are insane. I wonder why the government knows about all these technological advancements before anyone else...
                                Look at response #2.
                                And vice-versa.
But that's not true. And I'm only speaking for myself. I don't believe in aliens b/c there's no proof. If proof is presented, I will believe in aliens. On the other hand, people that DO believe in aliens will ALWAYS believe in aliens.
