The song Kingdom Come is produced by Just Blaze. You can check it out here.
You may also wanna check out this article:
"The inspiration came from a song I just did with Guru," he said. "Guru is into comic books and all types of stuff. To expound upon 'Kingdom Come,' every man has his kingdom, whether it's a security guard at the mall — that's his kingdom. [Hip-hop] happens to be my kingdom."Never surrender, it's all about the faith u got
Don't ever stop, just push it 'til u hit the top
And if you fall, at least u know u gave it your all
Be true to you, and that way u can never fall

Re: Jay-z is a Liar!
I sure hope not. I just don't have time to research who and what's out there at this point.
I wonder why the local hiphop stations don't play good stuff anymore? Even if they played some 'classics' from the 90's and 80's I would be happy.
Oh well, maybe I'll look some artists up on the weekend.
Glad to hear that there are still some decent artists hiding out there.
So true. I'm tired of these wannabe punk bands that all sound the same. They all have a front man that sounds like a whining little b**ch and they sing the same crap:The radio is not a good place to find good music and that's true for any genre.
"Waaaa! My stepdad won't let me smoke in my bedroom"
"Waaaa! I'm forced to watch TV on a tiny 42" plasma"
Waaa,waaa,waaa.
What happened to bands like Van Halen and Kiss? Bands that wanted to sing about chicks with long legs and partying all night? Not these ***** bands with kids that look like they cry whenever they see a dead butterfly on the road.Comment

Re: Jay-z is a Liar!
Jaty-Z is not the first rapper to retire then come back Too Short did it first. So I don't have problem with it. I don't know what the new album will be like but the concept sounds sick. I'll give it chance when it comes out. As far as hip hop over the last 10 yrs. It has grown not always in a direction that is meant for me. I've been listening to rap since Rappers Delight I dont like everything Ive heard but I respect the hustle.Comment

Re: Jay-z is a Liar!
I'm gonna have to ask if my boy Jmood is gonna buy this. Are you man?
If you do, I might just go out and buy it... but I'm very skeptical. I really don't enjoy much of his work. He's completely arrogant (and I really hate arrogant people, so why should it be different with my music tastes, right?). He completely sucks when he is featured on tracks (thank God this is his cd), so he actually might do a good job.
He is a pretty good lyricist when it comes down to it... and sometimes he hooks up with some madd hott beats, but his last album was iffy, and I've never really liked his rap voice either... kinda annoying.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: Jay-z is a Liar!
If you're talking since the "retirement", then yeah. But from the begining of his career until then, he was an undisputed third verse king.
Check Show and Prove with Kane. Check Da Graveyard with Big L. Check For My Niggas with Lil' Cease. Four Alarm Blaze with MOP. Check What We Do with Freeway. Why We Die with Busta. Check Big Momma Thing with Lil' Kim. My Mind Right Remix with Bleek.
And that's just a small sample.xbl gamertag: jiggidyjames72Comment

Nope I'm not buying it. I might download a song or two or maybe the album but I wouldn't buy it. When I first started listening to rap(when I was like in 2nd grade or something) Jay was actually the one that I loved but I really don't care about him now.I'm gonna have to ask if my boy Jmood is gonna buy this. Re: Jay-z is a Liar!
I have heard him on a song with Freeway... and man he justs hangs Freeway out to dry on that one. I forget the name of the track. Freeway isn't special at all when it comes to rap, but in this song Jay-Z's rapping made Freeway sound lyrically gifted. Jay-Z started throwing in words that he made up (or random sounds) so he could rhyme with the line he threw in before... It is pretty comical actually. I listen to the song with my friend every so often because we like the beat, and to make fun of Jigga's verse and how rediculously bad it is.If you're talking since the "retirement", then yeah. Ok... yeah... I'm not going to buy it either. I started listening to everything around the same time you did. I remember in 2nd grade, I loved Montell Jordan's cd, and I was into Coolio and guys like that.
I really made rap my favorite and most listened to genre of music in 1998, and I always attribute the reason to one song... "Don't Let It Go to Your Head" by Brand Nubian. I absolutely adored that song... and so I really started looking into the whole rap scene, preferrably guys like Brand Nubian. That is most likely the reason why I listen to what I listen to today.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: Jay-z is a Liar!
I totally agree with the arrogance part. Since, "In My Lifetime Vol. 1" most of his stuff has been, "I'm the best, I'm the King." I'm not going to deny his talent though. One of the best out there still. Personally I like Nas a lot more. Just my preference.I'm gonna have to ask if my boy Jmood is gonna buy this. Are you man?

Nas + Primo together kills anything Jay can put out IMO. Still waiting on that collabo album to happen. A guy can still hope......
I think the song you're referring to is "What We Do." Just Blaze produced that track.....Originally posted by X*CellI listen to the song with my friend every so often because we like the beat, and to make fun of Jigga's verse and how rediculously bad it is.Last edited by Gmoney2002; 10-17-2006, 05:34 PM."Your character is who you really are, your reputation is what you're perceived to be by others" - John Wooden(former UCLA head coach)Comment
