I'll wait till all the extensions are updated to be compatible with Firefox 2, before DLing it.

Same here. I used the 2.0 Beta version for a while, but some of my extensions didn't work and it got annoying trying to do things I was used to doing with extensions.

I've been using it since yesterday. The theme I was using isn't compatible, but otherwise I'm doing ok on extensions. Session Manager, IE View Lite, Adblock and the Filterset.G Updater, and I'm good to go.

I like the look - the tabs look like they do in Opera. And the automatic spell checker is pretty nice, save for the fact that it doesn't work in the "quick reply" fields on OS.

It seems a little better to me. But that could just be wishful thinking on my part. They've said they're not going to fix that until 3.0.

At least with Session Manager, you can easily close and reopen it a few times during the day.

And btw, there are documented problems with some FF extensions. A lot of the people who complain about crappy FF memory management are people who are using either bad extensions, or have loaded up their PC with a ton of extensions including known resource hogs like Forecast Fox.

have had no problems so far. visually identical to the previous version. some extensions are incompatible (for me are colorful tabs, crash recovery, and fasterfox), but nothing that's critical.

                  Just installed it.

I wish I had known beforehand that my favorites would be gone... Oh well.

It lets me open new tabs, but once they are open I can't use them to go to a new address. It just automatically uses my first tab. And it won't close as well.

I also can't seem to get the quick search feature working on the top right.

                  Any suggestions/help?

so far so good here, its not a drastic change from the last version but it is spiffed up a bit.

This is actually a nightmare. I'm going to try and download the old version.

Yikes...it takes away your favorites? Sounds like a bag of problems.

I have 2.0 installed and using alt + s does not post for me. That sucks. I always use alt + s to make a post.

I think he's the only one. I downloaded it today; all bookmarks transferred automatically, including the bookmarks tool bar.

                              Take care,
