no problems with my bookmarks either.............just downloaded it. Really don't see any noticeable differences. The Tabs look better now. Only thing I have noticed so far. All my extensions work fine too.

Re: Firefox 2 released today
Close Firefox when you are upgrading. My tard roomate kept his Firefox instance running while upgrading and he flipped out when he lost all his bookmarks. He then rebooted and all was fixed.
As for 2.0, I think it's pretty effin sweet. To anybody worried about extensions not being compatible, I use a decent amount and only 2 were incompatible for me: CrashRecovery and SearchPluginHacks.
Both of these extensions are now built in features to the browser so in reality, there are no problems for me. Obviously, the improved UI and features are pretty damn sweet.
Don't think twice about downloading this, but make sure you close your browser when you perform the install..Comment

Re: Firefox 2 released today
Good news about the bookmarks then....how about saving the search engines that are in the drop-down on the top right?
I have Adblock, the Filterset.G, BugMeNot, IE View, DownThemAll, and videoDownloader...any reports on the compatibility for those?Comment

Thanks a lot GBrush.“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

Re: Firefox 2 released today
Adblock Filterset.G Updater
Adblock Plus
CustomizeGoogle
Flashblock
Googlebar Lite
IE View
Mouse Gestures
PDF Download
Sage
Extensions I use that are not yet compatible with 2.0:
BlogThis
CopyPlainText
FasterFox
LiveLines
SearchEngineOrdering
TabMixPlus
Talkback
Update Notifier
I'm guessing that some of these 1.5 extensions that don't work yet with 2.0, such as TabMixPlus, won't be needed with 2.0 since their function was incorporated by Mozilla as a new feature in 2.0.
Homebrew ideas that become part of the official release -- another reason why Firefox is the primo browser on the Web and crushes IE.
Take care,

Adblock had problems in the Beta, but it sounds like it works in 2.0 now. I think I'll upgrade at work today to see how it is.Comment

Re: Firefox 2 released today
I upgraded my work PC. The upgrade of FF had issues so I had to export my bookmarks, uninstall, delete all folders containing FF and the reload. Worked like a charm.
I was able to add most of my extensions. Not having TabMixPlus isn't a big deal, but I do like the added functionality that it provided (especially resizing the tabs. They're too long for my liking).Comment

Re: Firefox 2 released today
one of my themes had a small "X" on the upper right hand corner of each tab. Made it real easy to close them. The theme I am using now does not. Is there and option somewhere that I'm missing ?My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx
