TabMixPlus added the red X's to the tabs in FF 1.5. It's now a default feature in FF 2.0. But you don't see the X's in the upper right corner of each tab if you have a ton of tabs open. Click on one of the tabs, and the X will appear.

The only functions from TabMixPlus that don't appear to be standard in FF 2.0 is the button to create a blank tab and the return to the last selected tab.

I'm going to see if Focus Last Selected Tab, which I used before I discovered TabMixPlus, is compatible with 2.0. I'm also guessing that the dude who made TabMixPlus will find some sort of feature that puts it again ahead of the 2.0 curve and upgrade it soon.

      Here's to hoping!

A very cool little Firefox extension:

I used this and deleted Googlebar Lite, instead using plug-ins in the existing Firefox 2.0 search bar for all of the various Google search functions, and freed up a lot of space to increase browser viewing area.

I was disappointed that my macfox theme wasn't compatible, but it looks like they're working on it.

Does anyone else have an issue with Firefox getting an error frequently at some sites? I know mine has had an issue (since the older versions) of crashing when I go to certain sites, namely here at OS

No. But if you're using Greasemonkey, some scripts make some sites unstable.

The changes are subtle, but they do make Firefox much better.

I really wish every browser would integrate a spell-check feature. It would make some of the posts made on here more readable.

My only complaint is I wish they would of kept the close tab on the far right, instead of adding it to each tab, makes it easier to read several threads and just hitting the left mouse button rather than moving the mouse to each tab. I know I am nitpicking but it makes it alot easier esp. on my laptop.

You can change the close button appearing on each tab behavior. I forget exactly what configuration modifies this within "about:config". If you really want to change this back to 1.5 behavior, just go to digg and do a search on the topic. A ton of other people complained about this same problem.

Ahhh, thanks for the reminder. I found the settings to resize the tab windows so they're smaller.

Just type about:config and type tab into the filter. There are a bunch of settings. browser.tabs.closebutton might be the one that needs changed for the close button behavior. Try changing to 3 and then restart FF.
