Doogie Howser: "I am a very content gay man"

    http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/11/0....ap/index.html

I hope this announcement doesn't exclude him from appearing in Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle 2/Amsterdam.

Who could forget these classic lines:

Kumar: Do you know what the hell we had to go through after you took the car?
Neil Patrick Harris: Yeah, it was a dick move on my part. That's why I'm paying for your meal.
Neil Patrick Harris: [looks down to count money] Here's 80 for the meal, and 200 for the car
Harold: What did you do to my car?
Neil Patrick Harris: I made some love stains in the back. You'll see...

Neil Patrick Harris: Yeah, dude, you fascinate me. Forget White Castle, let's go get some *****!
    Harold: Huh?
Neil Patrick Harris: It's a ****ing sausage fest in here, bros. Let's get some poontang, THEN we'll go to White Castle.
Kumar: No, Neil, you don't understand. We've been craving these burgers all night.
Neil Patrick Harris: Yeah, I've been craving burgers, too. Furburgers. Come on, dudes, let's pick up some trim at a strip club. The Doogie line always works on strippers.

File this under "Oh My God, Who Didn't See This Coming?" Kind of like the Lance Bass announcement.

Honestly I didn't see it coming, but I really have not followed this guy's career.

Unfortunately for Doogie, agents in Hollywood haven't either.

He's on a pretty popular new TV show right now, and it's very good. He's actually the best character on the show.

Ouch. Haha, you know you loved him in that critically acclaimed classic movie, "Starship Troopers". I'm sure that brought home atleast 4 Oscars.

It's kind of funny, considering his character of Barney in 'How I Met Your Mother'.

Very unexpected though, but at the same time, why should anyone care? If he's a good actor, he'll get jobs...if not, he'll be soliciting blow on Hollywood Blvd.

No shock to me. Always thought he was now I know. Like that means anything to me. He is a good actor and I remember watching doogie and thinking his Girl friend was fine lol.

Combined they might be able to overtake Barney but one on one he wipes the floor with them.

Overall though The Office is the better show. On that I can agree.

                        Plus I'd kick their asses!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well at least he came out the closet willingly but who cares? We either need to see a huge superstar in entertainment and/or sports to really capture the headlines.

Anyways this doesn't detract from anything he's done IMO.
