    Jay-Z: Kingdom Come

Just got finished listening to it. All in all, pretty hot album.

Thing about it is the last 4 tracks completely save the album. Trouble, the Katrina song, dig a hole, and beach chair are four of the best songs that Jay has EVER done.

Then there are some tracks that will make you want to stop playing the thing. And they probaly wouldn't be that bad if they were seperated throughout the album but they are there in one block and it makes it hard to digest.

Overall, it's a fine album. I wasn't overly impressed with it like I was Food and Liqour and Doctors Advocate, but that's probaly because we have heard alot better from Jay.
"Maybe I can't win. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that."

This is like the Black Album all over again in regards to trying to get it.

It looks like I'm pretty close though. Just found out the official Game album is out as well...

          LOL damn I missed it.

I kept thinking "I've heard this before?" The little bass stutter every few bars kept reminding me of Can't Touch This.

eh, this album doesn't really do it for me, at least not after a couple listens.

It's okay after a couple spins.

He just seems disinterested on a number of the tracks. Show Me What You Got especially.

Weird... I thought Kingdom Come had a Hammer sample in it and then he mentions him and Can't Touch This on the 3rd (or second) verse.

Freudian slip on my part I guess.
