they both have espn. Sirius has espn radio and espn news. I'm sure they are both on XM as well. I picked Sirius because of Stern, NFL and SEC, but to each their own. Hope you like it.

Yeah, you're right on ESPN, my bad there.

The only thing that Sirius has that appeals to me is the SEC rights. Which, I guess, doesn't really effect me because I'm at home on Saturdays to see any major SEC game that I won't, and if I'm not, then Munson is right there on the FM dial.

What I'm seriously hyped for are The Loft and XM Cafe.

I have the SkyFi 2 and I love it. My connections never goes bad at all. It's always 100% crystal clear. The only time it will go off is at an ATM or in a car wash or something like that.

Mine is hooked up via the aux. input on my dash unit in my Titan. I could have gotten XM on the dash unit, but I would rather have the SkyFi where I can take it in the house.

The only advice as far as reception is to make sure you put your antenna on the roof of your car near the back glass. Do not try to install the antenna inside the vehicle, you won't like the results.

I heard that. The worst thing about free radio is that companies like Clear Channel are taking the creativity and originality out of it. People in Cleveland may not like the same active rock that people in Chicago and New York do. But according to the huge radio companies, they do, and they will hear the same exact play lists. These cookie cutter formats have GOTTA go.

It's really very sad.

People in Cleveland may not like the same active rock that people in Chicago and New York do. But according to the huge radio companies, they do, and they will hear the same exact play lists. These cookie cutter formats have GOTTA go.

I haven't listened to the local radio in months. It's on here and there, but besides Opie and Anthony, I haven't turned it on. All of our morning shows suck here, so do the afternoon drive shows. The few local sports talk shows we have are all homer-rific and boring.

I either have my MP3 player on, or nothing.

I haven't listened to local radio or local sports talk since getting my Sirius. I've even listened to Vols games on Sirius as opposed to the local station. It's all Howard all the time for me now. I keep my radio on Howard 101 to listen to the West Coast Replay, then Bubba, then Ferrall.

well the big seller for my dad was that XM has a bunch of country music channels he can listen too (same with Sirrus, but XM has a few more).. it seems that the radio here in NY killed off any country music - there is only one i know of & you cant get it in all parts of LI.. I originally got XM for two reasons - baseball & Opie & Anthony..

& really what kills it for me is that it seems like Free Radio plays the same music over & over again.. & now my favorite is that there are several stations playing NOTHING but Xmas music even before Thanksgiving!!

I just think that the big corporations killed off "free" radio..

as much as clear channel sucks for what they are doing to free radio, they have one kick a$$ website for listening to music online. Awesome unplugged section.
