Wow that was unbelievable. I dont care what the context was... when you start yelling that stuff on stage there really is no excuse.

As for Michael Richards....ehhh. It's one thing when a comedian loses his cool on stage cause of a heckler, but he went a bit too far with that one. Something tells me that he just flat-out snapped and lost all common sense at the moment. It is a shame, but oh well, I'm sure he's probably not that great of a stand-up.Comment

That was ugly. Real ugly. It was literally painful just to watch.
Just goes to show you that there are still demented people out there who judge people by the color of their skin. I just don't get why anybody would use such a hateful word.
At least this isn't the 1960's anymore where the good ol' boy whities tied into the local southern governments could literally go out and kill black (or any whites who helped blacks) people and face no punishment for their actions.
Of course, this episode demonstrates that there's still a ton of racial tension boiling underneath the surface all across the country. I'd say it will take probably 2 or 3 more generations (around 120-160 years) to pass before we truly have a society that doesn't tolerate racism between whites and blacks. We can only hope. Probably won't happen, but by then, everybody who was around in those horrible 1960's days will be long gone, including their kids.Comment

Kinda ironic that an episode on Seinfeld showing right now, is about the black and white cookie... Maybe Kramer can learn a thing or two about the black and white cookieComment

Its funny that he would of been better off fist fighting the guy rather then opening his mouth. What a crazy world we live in."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Yes, that's called heckling. Every comedian suffers from it. Some handle it well (Bill Burr, Doug Stanhope), and others suck at it (Richards)Comment

Am I the only one who finds that tirade extremely amusing?
This country needs to get the stick out of it's collective ***. Did he go too far? Yes, I think that is evident. Should the guy be lynched for what he did? No, everyone makes mistakes. He lost his cool, really badly. So what? People F*ck up, it's a part of life. He made a mistake; he'll move on from it and hopefully learn.
You mean to tell me that nobody else here has said something entirely hateful to someone out of frustration? I'm betting every single person in this thread has, that makes you no better than him. In fact, it makes you worse than him. Because on top of losing your cool, you're a hypocrite.
