Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
It now says both games were shipped. College Hoops shipped the 24th, and GOW the 25th.

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
I heard heard they were horrible but since then it looks like they have overhauled quite a bit.
Gamefly is simply a joke, quality wise. HORRIBLE processing and bad shipping times. I was with them twice and the second time was practically a nightmare. A good time it could get here in 2-3 days and bad it might take 5+ days. Worse the processing I swear they have very little doing it.
For 3-6, maybe as much as 10 games I reported that I had returned them (giving them the week they request at minimum) and almost all, later that day or if it was at night I reported, the next day it was magically "found". I found that odd. The support was bad, they were nice but seemed to not do anything. I complained and yet really didn't get any response except maybe a "sorry" without doing anything further.
Anyways, I use GottaPlay, have just started using them and the first two games I got in 2 days (shipped on saturday, got it monday) but can't say for sure how they are yet, but it's looking good. Competitive prices, numerous locations unlike the ridiculous single location of Gamefly, great selection and serious - listed on Nasdaq.Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
It's good to know that online rental sites are popping up and being competitive.
Maybe it'll force GameFly to get off their high horse and realize they need more shipping centers.
They still charge the most and are practically ineffective for everyone outside of the Pacific Time Zone."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
How big is their HD-DVD rental section? I'm with Netflix and theirs is okay. Gameznflix have some movies on their front page Netflix doesn't. But when I click more, I get a 00 results page. Cjones, can you take a look and tell me how big their selection is?Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
I just signed up for Gameznflix for the year, only to find that this site sucks. Their DVD selection is very limited. I looked up Steve Carell so I can find "The Office" on DVD and they didn't have that or 40 yr old virgin.
Their videogame selection doesn't seem bad, but so far, their movies suck.Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
It's my opinion only but anything but Blockbuster Online or Netflix to rent movies is probably not a great idea. Those two have a great selection and a great amount of copies."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Both are terrible at getting special edition versions of DVDs, though. Wildly hit or miss, in that regard.D E S E R V E_V I C T O R YR.I.P. Sean Taylor (1983-2007), a True CaneComment

I'm hoping I get the games in tomorrow, but it won't matter as I won't be able to play any of 'em until Wednesday.Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
To those who signed up, how has it been?
I'm currently in my month long trial with Gamefly, but am thinking about trying out Gameznflix. If the selection and shipping times are halfway decent, then it'll be worth it with the $249/year 6 at a time deal.Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
Yes, their movie lineup is weak, but that's not why I'm with them. They are cheaper and more efficient for me. I've toyed with the 250 a year deal, but it's just not possible for me to enjoy that many games at a time.Being kind, one to another, never disappoints.Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
I quit 20 minutes after I signed up. Their website is 10 times worse than Netflix or Gamely's and their DVD selection is terrible. They don't have any TV shows on DVD. I looked up Keifer Sutherland to get to 24, and only 4 DVDs showed. The guy has been in alot of movies.Comment

Re: Does anybody use Gameznflix?
I've been with Gamefly and Gameznflix. For me, Gameznflix is far better. I've only had one case where a game came 8 days after it was stated "shipped." With Gamefly, it was like that since I subscribed.

I'm not sure if it's a Gamenflix issue or the fact that I have the stuff shipped to my office and the incompetent mail room keeps holding it back.Comment
