Yeah he was right, the movie was sweet. James Bond, with a bit of an edge to him. No longer the campy Roger Moore type character.Comment

Re: Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread
I'm to lazy to read all of these pages. I'm curious...what was the Warner announcement?
I just bought a HD-DVD player, and have the PS3 so I can watch Blu-ray."What I would like for every football team to do that we play is to sit there and say, I hate playing against these guys." -Nick SabanComment

Warner is Blu-ray only only now. They have a few HD-DVD's still coming, but in May, it ends.Comment

Re: Official Blu-Ray & HD-DVD Thread
There's 400+ movies on HD DVD, so even if no more HDDVD comes out that'll be plenty to hold me over til the PS3 comes down in price some.
I'm not mad that Warner Bros. went blu, but I am with the screw job they are giving the HD-DVD crowd while they are technically "still on board." The 3 week delay in releasing the HD-DVD versions and now "I Am Legend" is having blu ray exclusive content. I'll just save $15 and get the SD version and upconvert.Last edited by GAMEC0CK2002; 02-08-2008, 11:54 PM.Comment

Agreed. But I'm loving the current prices and gonna ride this horse into the sunset. I'm just not ready to fork over $400 the cheapest "future proofed" blu ray player, PS3.
