Going to See 'Rocky Balboa' tomorrow night (Possible Spoiler)

My wife and two friends of ours will be attending the advanced screening of "Rocky Balboa" tomorrow night at the AMC Theatres in Southfield, MI. Stallone's supposed to be there as well to sign autographs and take pictures.
It's actually a fund raiser to help build a new Kronk Gym in Detroit.

It should be a cool night and if anyone's interested I could give a short review on the film.

Cool, see if you can get a pic with Stallone as well. I'll be seeing this movie, likely in January. I hope the film lives up to the excitement that seems to be building on these boards here.

I will definatley post a pic. I hear he's very short so it'll be interesting if he is.
And I read a recent article where Sly said he was very disappointed with Rocky 5 (I know most people did but I loved it) so he wanted to rectify that. And he feels that Rocky Balboa is as good as the 1st movie. That's a pretty tall order but if it's close to being as good as Rocky 3 or 4 I'll be happy.

Hahaha. Don't worry. I will not post one spoiler. I'll just give a quick synopsis on the story, acting and overall opinion on the movie.

And when I meet Stallone I'm going tell him "I must break you".

Well...he visits this message board, having to sift through ****ty posts from ****ty posters like yourself, what's the difference?

I'm jealous, bro! I convinced the wife to go see it Christmas night. We'll be driving back to Winston Salem from Charlotte that day...probably just in time to make a 7 or 7:30 showing. I cannot WAIT!!

Wasting Christmas to see this movie? I can think of 10,000 things I'd rather be doing, and not one of them is paying $20 to go see Rocky 6 in a movie theater on Christmas.

I'm not sure if you have to buy tickets through the theatre in advance. But I believe the show starts at 8:00. The tickets for just the movie are $25.00. If you want to meet Stallone, get special seating and have drinks before the show (which starts at 7:00 pm) then it's $100.

Oh, now I agree with the previous guy, you're paying $100 to see this thing and to see Stallone... My God. Give me $100, I'll spend it better for you.

                            10,000 things, huh? List them.

I've just got nothing really going on this Christmas, man. We're driving to my mom's the night of the 23rd, we'll be there until Christmas Day, but we have to come back home that night because I have to work on the 26th. Not all of us will have a shiny new Wii to be playing all day and night that night!

Hahaha. It all depends on how you look at it. My buddies wife is a die-hard Stallone fan so she wanted us to go. It's also a tax write off because it's for charity.
I'm excited about it. My wife and I haven't been able to go out for a special occasion in a while so this will be nice.
