Depends on what you looking for. I went with XM because of the music channels available and the MLB rights. Could be different for you.

I have the XM MyFi and I love it, I use it in my car and in my room, although they have newer versions out now I still like this one, it makes the 14 hour drive home from T-town bearable.

The Bridge (The Who Channel 10) is the greatest channel to ever come to Sirius radio.

What do yall think about the sound quality of Sirius? I've heard people say it's a step below FM radio.

if you buy the $20 FM modulator and have it installed at CC or BB for $35, it'll be crystal clear or if you have an aux in in your cd player it'll be crystal as well.

I personally only ever listen to the regular radio now in my car when I want to hear a Cavs or Browns game. Aside from that, I just use my XM and I love it. I love the rock stations, the main comedy station, and the Opie & Anthony station (obviously, seen as how I've only missed one "live" show since last September). And when I'm not in my car, I'll occasionally listen to XM on my computer through a program called XaMp Studio (and u can do it through XM's site as well).

So will this work with the Calypso home kit's antenna?

                      Re: Satellite Radio Thread.

I have some questions about Satellite radio. I hope I don't sound like too much of a dunderhead. I would like to get XM satellite that works both at home and in the car. The ones I have been looking at have home kits and car kits but it looks like the car kits all require a cassette slot on your existing radio. Are there any other kits? Or what would be my other options to get something like this to work?

                      Thanks for any help.

seeing as I have sirius, the info might be a little different, but I would assume not by much. The home kits/car kits usually come with an antenna. For instance, I have my kit installed around my dashboard, but then I run the antenna cord under the floor mat, under my seat, under the back floor mat, behind the seat and then out the back rear access window of my truck and then it magnetically attaches to the roof. let me do some more research and i'll get back to you.

                        update:

That is a home kit for an xm radio. You've got the dock, remote, the ac/power cord and the antenna. You put it somewhere close to a window and either set the antenna right inside the window or put it in a ziploc bag and put it outside.

How is it electronically connected to the vehicle? All the kits I see for cars have you connect it to the existing sound system through a cassette adapter. My car does not have a cassette player.

FM Transmitter. Overrides the FM signal.
